Dark Souls (Demon's Souls sequel) is now live. If you pre-order it, you get a free upgrade to the deluxe edition. Also, head over to http://www.preparetodie.com and click on the glyphs in the background. If you complete the puzzle, you'll get a unique code for a game unlock.

Ordered on Amazon(they make so easy!)
Also, not a good idea to live in a house in college when all your roommates play TF2. And PSN is back up! Not going to be a very productive week. Edited by KoS - May 15 2011 at 01:07 |

Ok,just got through the Patrolman phase of the game in LA Noire and solved my first case at the Traffic desk.I really like scouring a scene for clues and the interviewing and interrogations are really cool with the new facial mapping technology.I have always been really good at reading people through expressions and body language so this is right up my alley.
The parts of 1947 LA I have seen so far are amazingly detailed and the map is huge.Finding 20 badges(via the DLC) in all that is going to be a chore,even with the packet of negatives that comes with the game that reveals the locations.

One cent means a lot. I bought my copy of Catman: Boxer's Blow for a penny. Can you believe classic cinema like this: was just $0.01?

Has anyone played Brink? Some of the reviews have been a little less than stellar but the game looks pretty fun and my friends are enthusiastic about it. It's only 40 bucks on Steam Cloud. Any opinions?

I'm currently re-playing this:
One of the very best games of all time, I would say.

I love this. It's probably my 3rd time playing through it. Sometimes the control feels janky, but that's ok. It's still an 8/10 for being fun as hell. Apparently the first two are better, but thee's tons of probablems getting The Metal Age working on a modern computer. Something to do with being designed for single or dual core processors or something. They need to re-release classics like the first two Thief and System Shock games in some form. I get pissed when people talk about cool games I can't play. I can't believe there hasn't been any news of Thief 4 since 2009. I hope it's not dead in the water. But, really Eidos Montreal might be my favorite developer (or maybe Bethesda). They're putting some good work into Deus Ex 3, and I'm hoping the same level of love for the source goes into Thief 4. |

I've started Neverwinter Nights 2 a couple nights ago...don't think I'm going to keep playing it very long, because they took just about everything good about NWN 1 and removed it IMO. Plus, I feel like the combat is horribly unbalanced, I find myself having a lot of trouble even on easy, no matter what strategies I use. Not to mention the camera angles...

NWN2 is easy on Normal, Jon. Sort it out!
Anyhow, I'm deciding whether to by Terraria on Steam or not. |

@Stonie,
Unfortunately, pretty much all Eidos projects have been put on hold since the company was assimilated into Square Enix two years ago. This pisses me off because that also meant the death of Timesplitters 4, though that's also more due to Free Radical being absorbed by Crytek studios. Timesplitters 2 was possibly the most fun and hysterical multiplayer game ever made (and goddamn if Future Perfect wasn't f*cking incredible as well), and I am literally dying for news about Timesplitters 4. It's been 6 years since Future Perfect came out, and 4 years since we've seen anything official from Timesplitters 4. Last year Crytek said that Timesplitters 4 is most definitely not dead; rather, they're just waiting for the right market opportunity to reintroduce the series. According to this recent interview, Crytek UK are supposed to make a gigantic announcement this coming E3. Since Crysis 2 was already released, the only real franchises they own are Second Sight, Haze, Timesplitters, and Star Wars Battlefront. Granted, if continuations of any of these series are announced (except a sequel to Haze, which would be kind of gay considering how hard the game tanked) I would be extremely excited, and to be honest, Timesplitters looks like it could be a healthy bet. There's been rumors in circulation that the company wants to revive the series anyways, and I seriously can't see them reviving Second Sight (though that would also be very cool to see) and Star Wars Battlefront 3 was already confirmed dead a year ago. Oh God, this makes me want to bust out the 'cube and start shooting monkeys again. E3 can't come soon enough.
