Yes. It was Independence Day. I am trying to shift the topic of this thread from "Bin Laden is Dead" to "Inspiring Movie Speeches." |

^ OMG!
He’s misquoting Dylan Thomas, though. The correct line is "Do not go gentle into that good night." But I’m sure you knew. |

the book never says where it is located, it could be any modern war or military camp ever. I first thought it was Australia, or South Africa, or even Egypt, or Afghanistan, it could be Kosovo or even.... anywhere

I'm pretty sure he's not attempting to quote it. |

![]() Finishing a Job: Obama Gets Osama Obama touched off American celebrations with his Sunday night announcement that U.S. forces finally had killed Osama bin Laden, but that long frustrating hunt might not have been necessary if George W. Bush had rejected neoconservative advice to pivot prematurely from Afghanistan to Iraq in late 2001. General Tommy Franks was overseeing the military operation aimed at capturing or killing bin Laden when Rumsfeld relayed Bush’s order to freshen up the invasion plan for Iraq. |

To Bush's credit...near the end he did become a bit more assertive about things, in general.
He was also not nearly the neo con he's made out to be but hey...when you're a weak president you cave to whatever people want from you! |

At least the navy seal team finally got the f**ker. I laughed out loud at that cartoon though.
Hope Al Queda doesn't put out a contract on the artist. Remember that Danish cartoonist? |
