Well. the Tigers play the Mariners next. So perhaps we can both bemoan how our teams are playing...simultaneously!

Tigers just gave up a run to Oakland. Not sure why Penny picked up that ball rather than let it go foul. |

Glad I missed the game today. Hopefully Romero can solve the Red Sox tomorrow, but the lack of consistent hitting is what scares me the most.

Would somebody please explain to me how Bad Penny is an improvement over Jeremy Bonderman, besides his fiance posing nude in Playboy?

The Buccos are .500. Woot!. They suck at home but are playing great on the road. Go figure.

I want more Blue Jays and less Boo Jays.
2 games against the Yankees at home. I hope we can beat up Burnett.

You might say that the Mariners walked all over the Tigers last night.

True.....the dreaded BoB, kills you everytime . But Ichiro and Figgi going 7 for 9 helped us a lot.....

Yesterday's performance from Coke was exactly what I was expecting from him when the Tigers announced he would be one of our starters. I was pleasantly surprised with his first two starts. Good thing about falling behind 4 - 0 in the first inning when the Tigers are playing on the West Coast is that I can just turn the game off and go to bed instead of staying up until 1:00 in the morning watching like I did on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday.

I'll be honest. I did not expect the Jays to get to Rivera like they did last night. Travis Snider's average may be horrible, but at least his few hits have been rather timely.

It appears as though today is the Tigers day to walk all over the Mariners. 5 walks in 5 innings, and as of now, a 3 to 1 lead for the good guys.

Yes, it seems so. But damn, can our boys get through one game without an error? That is so annoying.

Jays get the day off to forget all about Bartolo Colon. My god!! I remember him being pretty heavy, but not that big. Well he kept the Jays quiet, so thats what counts. And that baserunning error by Arencibia was too funny .

Funny you say '"the good guys". Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson, announcer for the ChiSox always refers to the ChiSox as "The good guys" during the broadcasts. |

The ChiSox are most definitely the bad guys.

Apparently, the playoffs might expand to 10 teams next year: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/baseball/mlb/04/21/expanded.playoffs.ap/index.html
I think I hear the same thing being said every year though.

That's what baseball needs: a longer season
Snow delays at the World Series, anyone?
