That's your choice, but let others to express their opinions without being called trolls, specially if we have strong and supported arguments.

I haven't seen these in a while, but I loved Lilo and Stitch. A heartwarming and funny film that still manages to sent a message about humanity as a whole. If Wall-E had been on this list, it would've gotten my vote, though.

I'm going to just put my two cents in about this "argument"...
Walt Disney was a creative genius. A crazy genius who was wrong on many things IMO, but a genius nonetheless. I honestly couldn't care less about his political views (which is true in all cases) unless it affects the plot of his writing and film making. I strongly disagree with Walt Disney on many fronts, but it seems a bit absurd for that to affect my enjoyment of his films. |

let's set things in perspective
Roald Dahl in he's later years was also accused for having racist symphathys, it is said that the origin and backstory of the oompa-loompas In Charlie and the Chocolate-factory were half-racist, and that he had anti-semitic sympatys as well, but that don't stop millions of adults and children to get entranced into he's wonderfull books, whom are all classics, even Tolkien was under the magnifying glass (but he made clare statments both personal and academical answeres to way anti-semiticem and Hitler-germany was nothing he could ever be a follower of) (and both are 1st World War veterans in the air-force)

I know people don't care about Walt Disney, but doesn' statement from the Disney Executive Director of International publicity made a few years ago scares youˇ
It really scares me and makes me recommend parents toavopid Disney movies?
I can expect this statement from an ignorant, but not ftrom a high executive of a company that has proclaimed the children are their main interest.

Ivan, the thing is, all your arguments are about Disney the person, Disney the company, etc. Yes, bad ideas and things were probably said. But the thread's question was "which of these three do you prefer?". Now I actually don't like any of this, and wouldn't even have participated but your comments needed some reply If the thread was called "Your opinion on Walt Disney" then maybe none would object to your comments,a t least not regarding people liking or not movies....
It's like you made a Genesis' thread called "Pick one of this three Gabriel-era albums" and someone came and said "But Tony Banks once said that all SouthAmericans have to die!". Does it have anything to do with the poll?

I think it's important to point out that people are not all good or all bad. Disney was wrong about a lot, yes, and he surely did some bad things, but he was also a wonderful entertainer, famously kind to children and a truly inspirational artist. I believe his primary motivation for things like Disneyland was to make people happy. Sure, you can say he was only in it for the money, but whether or not that's true, his vision has brought joy to millions.
I also enjoy the music of Richard Wagner, even though he was a narcissistic, idea stealing anti-semite. I can separate the art from the artist. |

One of the three movies is a distorsion of Robert Louis Stevenson's Classic "Treasure Island", plus, when wioll another Disney thread will be made to guive an opinion?
About Genesis, a lot of threads have started about one, two or three Genesis albums and klots of "I don't care for Gnesis" or "G3enesis is the most overrated" posts have appeared, and nobody says a word.
That's what threads are about.
