Really enjoyed Kebnekaise. Lately I've been listening to a lot of folk rock and for some reason haven't listened to any for some quite some time. Sometimes one doesn't listen to a certain genre for a while and usually with some regrets.
A.R. & Machines is an artist that's new to me. I've always dug experimental psych/krautrock. Great review.
Speaking of folk. Here's a Finnish symph/folk band Viima. Listened to thier first album a few nights ago. Fantastic female vocals done in Finnish.

Ruins are a Zeuhl duo from Japan. These two songs are from their 1998 album Symphonica. It should be pointed out that there is a keyboardist and vocalist on this album; usually it is just bass and drums with minimal vocals. Here's the song "Thebes":

Cirkel were a Dutch Neo-Prog band who released only one album called The First Goodbye in 1983. I haven't heard a lot of Neo and this is the only song I've heard from this group, but I like it. It's called "A Song Of Love And Hate":

Os Mutantes are a Psychedelic/Space Rock group from Brazil. I'm only familiar with their first three albums released between 1968-70. The following song comes from the album O 'A E O 'Z' recorded in 1973 but not released until 1992. The song is called ""A" a o "Z"":

Now for some African prog. Osibisa are a Jazz Rock/Fusion group from Ghana. They were fairly popular when they first came out, the first album going to #11 in the UK charts. They seem to have been mostly forgotten and I haven't yet heard any of their albums. Their first two albums have some of Roger Dean's earliest album cover artwork. This is the song "Beautiful Seven" from their second album Woyaya released in 1971:

Garden Wall is a Progressive Metal band from Italy. This is the only song I have heard from them. From the 1994 album Path Of Dreams this song is called "The Bride Of The Wind":

Great post zrav. I was introduced to Osibisa about 30 years ago from my friends older sister at the time. I did eventually get thier first two LPs. Here's another track from thier s/t debut:
Oriental Sunshine from Norway is listed under the Indo prog/Raga-rock sub-genre but also could be placed in prog folk. Only one album from the band and I have it on vinyl from the Fontana label. I bought it used at a record swap meet years ago and is in OK shape.

Henry Cow were the originators of the Rock-In-Opposition movement. I'm sure many have heard of them, but not as many have *heard* them. Univers Zero and Samla Mammas Manna seem to be more well known for some reason. The following songs come from their 1973 debut album Legend (or Leg End). Compared to their later albums, there is a strong Canterbury influence on this one. Like In Praise Of Learning, this album was originally released on CD as a remix.
On Legend the difference is that original member Geoff Leigh's sax and flute parts have been replaced by Lindsay Cooper's bassoon and oboe, recorded in the 1980s. She was not a member until the second album. I've reviewed Unrest and Western Culture but not the other two yet; mainly because there are two different versions, although I am familiar with both the original and remixed editions.

Phoenix are a Romanian band listed under Prog Folk. The only songs I have heard are the three streaming ones here. I like this song the most of the three. It's called "Pseudo-Morgana" from the 1973 album Cei Ce Ne-Au Dat Nume:

After Ian McDonald and Michael Giles left King Crimson they made an album called McDonald & Giles, released in late 1970 or early 1971. Fripp called it "the other half of a great album," in reference to In The Wake Of Poseidon. This song is called "Tomorrow's People":

Wonderful musician, I have his three albums, all good. I've featured him here (a thread dedicated to him) and in my blog. His last album is where he got extra musicians to play on the album (including a drummer), whereas in the previous he was on his own (and drum machine).
