Because the gypsies are not a united ethnic group with money enough to make us remember it with a new movie every year, not that this is bad, because  holocaust must never be forgotten, but lets be honest, the Jewish community will never allow us to forget holocaust, because they have the resources..

The Holocaust was horrendous, but there are massacres everywhere that people don't care about.

Gypsies for example, are despised everywhere, they were killed, not only by Nazis, but also by Stalin and harassed by most Christian churches (including the Catholic) in Europe.

The Vichy Government sent gypsies to concentration camps in Argeles-Sur-Mer and Bacarés, but this was not new in France, since 1912, Gypsies were forced to have a special ID that had to be sealed in every town at the entrance and departure, if not they were sent to jail.

50% of the gypsy community in Europe was exterminated between 1926 and 1938, the Zyklon B gas was tested for the first  time in Buchenwald on February, 1940 with 250 gypsy children, but nobody was convicted in Nuremberg for this..

The problem is that this people  are stigmatized, Gypsies are seen as crooks and experts in frauds everywhere, so people simply close their eyes and see on the other way when something happens to

No need to Google, you are talking about the euthanasia program that started in 38 or 39 by lethal injection.

It was criminal, but legally it's massive murder, not genocide, because the kids or severely ill  were German, not the race the Nazis were trying to exterminate.

And the most horrendous is that the killers were really doctors, who had made an oath..

We have shown the charts, Seen the movies. With a sense of oneupmanship we have compared our tragedies. We have even spun it and coined a new phrase to identify it...."ethnic cleansing"......a new language for a society with vast access to information, a society
which is slowly hardening itself off to the tragedies. Allen Rouse has always been on the stormfront "in his head". An article says he rarely comes out of his house. In this modern day and age you can hate right from your computer chair on the "stormfront".

And for those who wish to understand how the doctors were able to do what they did, the psychological forces that evolved and turned "healers into killers", i would highly recommend the book "The Nazi Doctors" by Robert Jay Lifton. It is a disturbing, but quite illuminating, look at how they did what they did-there were some literally Orwellian things going on, not surprisingly, but this book helps one to understand

In the fourth year of laws, we studied Criminology and the process of  Stigmatization.

The case we studied was the one of the Nazi doctors and nurses of the Reich, and how they were forced to commit horrendous crimes, but this was only at the start, after a time they accepted their role and even justified themselves.

This woman was 23 years old but she looked much older and with a cold sight, as if nothing matters.

This stigmatization can be an automatic and progressive effect of their acts with no intervention of the will or can be a voluntary act, as in prisoners who are convicted for long terms.

Being that some of this prisoners really don't feel any shame, their facial expressions don't change in an automatic process, so  they destroy their bodies, like self inflicting cuts (The cuts are like medals in the military), or placing terrible tattoos in their bodies to be more frightening.

It's a very interesting process for study purpose..
