I've only heard Hallogallo from Neu!, and although it has a cool guitar riff, I was extremely bored with the same beat and guitar riff on continuous loop for the entire 9 minutes of the song.

I kind of agree, even though i really like them. It's like minimalist art Tongue
I saw them live in september! You should check out "NEU! 75", which is probably their most varied album (varied compared to the others), and especially the song "Seeland" Smile

Yes, it was my first listen and it was awesome. Definitely prefer it to JuJu, and it's up there with the superb Speak No Evil.
 
What do you think of that Mahavishnu album? I now prefer Inner Mounting Flame by a wide margin.

Well i am a Huge  McLaughlin fan he cant do no wrong for me so  i love all his stuff my   fav Mahavishnu albums is in fact  Apocalypse   maybe because was the first one i got back in the day  i Also Like Visions   because i love Ponty
