I have all three albums ... and their Last Tango album has always been a favorite of mine because it is theatrical and it kicks ass! ... and it was almost the same time as Carmen's material, and I was aplying both back to back because they were fabulous all around.
I originally picked up their first album because it said something that ... I thought might be interesting ... it said a whole bunch of musicians from different countries, and of course, here I was in America, from Portugal and lived in Brazil for 6 years ... and considering how much better versed in different sounds and music I was, other than the "A Star is Born" (heheh! ) generation, and the sons and daughters of greed and advertising (greed is good!) ... I thought ... wow, that would be really kool and different. And of course, the three or four people around me thought I was weird. But it was the second album (Dance Macabre) that hit home, and the title cut is it! And a year later that third album knocked me out!

This is a song from perhaps the only convicted murderer listed as an artist here on PA. Progressive Electronic artist Bobby Beausoleil released the soundtrack for Lucifer Rising in 1972. This is the only song I have heard from it, but I have read a bit about the album and Beausoleil's history. Here's "Lucifer Rising 1" :

This is a song from UK Eclectic Prog group Gnidrolog. The song is called "Long Live Man Dead" from their first album In Spite Of Harry's Toenail. I have heard this album and the follow up, but like this one better.

Eider Stellaire were a Zeuhl group from France who released a few albums in the 1980s. The first self-titled album from 1981 is considered the best. None of their music has been released on CD. One of the members who owns the master tapes refuses to re-release the albums, being embarrassed of them. Even though you will probably never find a copy of the original vinyl, luckily, here on PA you can listen to the whole 5-song first album here:

This is a song from Canadian Post-Rock group A Silver Mt. Zion, who share some members with GYBE. From their second album released in 2001 called Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upwards. The song is called "Sisters! Brothers! Small Boats Of Fire Are Falling From The Sky!" :

Harmonia were a German group made up of the duo Cluster and former Kraftwerk/Neu! guitarist Michael Rother. They are listed under Progressive Electronic here on PA. I've only heard their first album, this song is from the second De-Luxe from 1975. It's called "Walky-Talky" :

Egg are a Canterbury trio that don't get enough love. There is one streaming song here from their third, last and weakest effort The Civil Surface from 1974. This song is called "Germ Patrol":
I like their interpretation of classical pieces, it almost makes you think that classical music was meant to be played by metal bands! For example, here is their version of the classic "Night On A Bare Mountain":

Being once an obscure vinyl collector I collected a lot of rare heavy psych/hard rock/proto-metal, krautrock, blues-rock, heavy prog and psychedelia back in the day. I hope you don't mind me throwing up a couple of posts.
Hairy Chapter was a heavy krautrock band with two releases, Eyes(1970) and Can't Get Through(1971) which I have on the German label Bacillus. Never seen thier first release on original vinyl though it has been re-isssued on CD.

Polyphony from Virginia released only one album, thier s/t debut from 1972. PA has the band under the psychedelic/space rock sub-genre but to me it's more a heavy symphonic sound. My vinyl on the the US label Eleventh Hour is in good shape and was very hard to find 25 years ago.
