^you don't bore me, hehe. Concerning PT, I'm really not sure which is my fave, I'm really hooked up now with their 90s stuff, but from the 00s either Lightbulb Sun or Deadwing are my faves.

Indeed, was going to rate it 5 stars. I consider there to be three 5 stars Soft Machine albums, each from a different stlye/era: Volume 2 (Psychy Jazz), Third (Experimental Jazz Rock) and Bundles (Fusion).

I really love the first three SM albums - beyond that I'm not as big of a fan as I'm not as interested in the JR/F side of the band, but I do like what I've heard of the rest of them too.

Well, you know I'm a bigger fusion fan than avant-garde one, so you probably expected that from me and I expected that from you, haha.
Fourth isn't that great for me, but you may like it, it's more pure jazz than other SM recordings but with the same line-up of Third.

I have Fourth and Fifth (got them as a 2-for-1). Like I said, I do like the later stuff, just not to quite the same extent as I like the first three. |
