The last one was a masterpiece! Let’s try to make this one equally good. Inspired by the time of year:

1. Merry Christmas!
2. cured herring
3. celebration
He say nothing is quite what it seems;
I say nothing is nothing

So, to give it the correct Christmas ending:

34. solstice bell(s)
35. hangover

EDIT: I wrote, "solstice", then changed it to "solstice bell(s)". It’s probably better, and I think a tribute to JT is appropriate here.

When I was a Gerbil.... by which ones Pink?

Merry Christmas! Christmas Christmas.. Is there any Cured Herring in there?
Just Celebrate if you can slide me. Is there any Cured Herring home?
Come on now, I hear you're feeling aroused, Santa Caps can ease your glee, get you on your stocking again.
Relax, I'll need some sugarplum first, just the basic chimney, can you show me where it kisses?

There is no misletoe, you are wondering a distant eyes smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in Beards your uvula moves but I can't hear what you're singing.
When I was Gerbil I had Psychosis, my hands felt just like Soul Patches.
Now I've got that  Clutching once again, I can't explain you would not understand this is not how Refugee is. I have become comfortably Run.

Ok..ok..ok just a little Gingerbread man there will be no more Degenerate draw-ar-arfs, but you may feel a litle despicable.
Can you Hijack...hijack..hijack, I do believe it's blinking, good, that'll keep you Swaying through the show cmon it's time to go.

There is no misletoe, you are wondering a distant eyes smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in Beards your uvula moves but I can't hear what you're singing.
When I was Gerbil I caught a fleeting reindeer out of the corner of my lap.
I turned to give but it was gone, I cannot put my Solstice bells on it now, the gerbil is grown, the hangover is gone.
 And I have become comfortably run.

It’s the hallmark of a great poet that P. A. Waters avoids the obvious word "child" and chooses the far more interesting metaphor "gerbil" instead. The desert rat is about as far from the Dickensian Christmas and the Coca Cola-Santa as you can come, and yet it describes the process of growing up with an astonishing acuteness. There’s also a subtle reference to Proust here: In Autour de Madame Swann, the hero, while play fighting with the girl Gilberte (whom he is in love with), ejaculates in his pants. This helps us to understand the somewhat obscure line when I was a gerbil I caught a fleeting reindeer out of the corner of my lap. After that it’s easy to understand why he feels comfortably run.
He say nothing is quite what it seems;
I say nothing is nothing
