Ocarina is the PERFECT Zelda game, Link's Awakening was the first TLOZ I
played, it get me into the Zelda world, I love when you collect all the
instruments to open the egg in the mountain, I always saved just before I did this part:

This is one I haven't played all the way through yet, but it's next on my list. That's the owl that was in Ocarina of Time later right?
^That's the first time when the owl appear in Zelda world (i think). The only TLOZ game that I like less is Adventure of Link, the whole thing of playing like in a conventional adventure game doesn't fii with the saga.
Yeah, I just beat Adventure of Link. It was way too difficult to be fun. Definitely my least favorite. But I did like the battle with Shadow Link.

Believe it or not I actually think Wind Waker was the most solid Zelda game. That would be followed closely, though, by Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, and Twilight Princess.
Unfortunately I've never finished Ocarina of Time because the three times I've done it I've gotten hung up on game-ending bugs.

I've beat that game like 20 times and never encountered any.

Well I know two different ones were in the water temple, I don't remember the third but I kinda gave up because I was frustrated about having to start over.

That really does suck. I can understand why you could have negative perceptions of the game if that happens. I've never even heard of these bugs.
Oh yeah, I've changed my mind from a few months ago- OoT, hands down.

Being a hardcore Zelda fan who actually frequents some zelda forums and zelda wiki, I have to go with Ocarina of Time. It is overall my favorite Zelda game, although for every other zelda game (except Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks), there's some unique quality about them that I have grown to appreciate.
Majora's Mask comes second and A Link to the Past comes third.

Back in the day I used to frequent a forum dedicated to making Zelda Fan Games.
I still have some of the games I started. None were really games though, mostly walk-demos.
