5 Event: Pick a Number!
Before the night deadline is over (roughly 23 ½ hours
from now), be sure to PM me any number of your choice from 1 to 100. I have a
number written down before this post. Whoever PMs me the number that is closest
to the one I’m thinking will receive this night’s prize!
|
lemme guess, no zombs
|
You can guess, sure, but you won't get the prize. Go ahead and PM me anyway if you're curious to see how you do.

bea, let me flesh some things out a bit more then... maybe. I don't want to make things too obvious, because I don't want to underestimate the intelligence of the other players in being able to figure stuff out too.

I understand completely - I just feel a bit up the creek w/o a paddle - I try to find peeps in the thread that give me the best civ vibes and talk to them - right now - you and cubia are my strongest vibes - you are not wrong - the numbers are cruital right now - it's always about now in a game I'm kicking myself for being the suck at the maffs.
I'm eternally sad trice died - cuz I got instant civ read from him.
svs - I want her to be civ - even though she suspects me - I hope that when she comes back and we talk we'll work it out. idk why she thinks I'm bad -

Even the people who give off the most civilian vibes cause some suspicion...I've even been trying to figure out who gives the least anything vibes to figure out who is playing everyone's favorite incoherent mumbler (Damo) - anymore, I go on scraps of possible evidence and some gut feeling about who's who. Yeah, this late in the game things start to become a bit clearer if you pay attention to the little things, but as we just saw in the last lynching, people can be mistaken about their opinions too.

Not necessarily, remember Damo has to kill EVERYONE, so for all we know the person playing him could just be picking names at random. Also, you're getting dangerously close to posting on topic.

I want to ask you questions but that would make you on topic.

You asking him wouldn't make him on topic - him answering would.

this may be a wise course of action tbh - and I think I smell what you are stepping in. *IF* I am reading between the lines correctly. *looks hopeful*
this game is ever difficult and always confuses me. Yet I keep playing....again and again and again.

again - I'm sad that I'm having this conversation with dead players - cuz it's the conversation that needs to happen with the live players.(and again - please don't go dangerously on topic by responding)
but - fwitw - I disagree - once suspish is on you - there is a chance - giving up - not defending - egh - it just lets baddies follow along on thier vote - and doesn't help your teammates find you because they have *nothing* else to go on.
Talking is good - I don't understand why it's so silent in here all the time. - but the mafia seems to have been wise by knowing who the talkers are and getting rid of them.

fair enough - then the question I would pose to him - were he still alive - was "were you killed because I knew you were civ? or because it was *obvious* you were civ? (btw trice - don't answer it. )

Actually, if he was still alive you wouldn't be posing that question to him, because he wouldn't have been killed. I think my problem with having conversations about suspicions and all of that stuff is that I'm naturally paranoid. Especially in a game like this when you don't know who you can trust, it makes it harder to open up with suspicions, etc.

and you are right - could he post on topic - I wouldn't have to ask the question - I posted the question so you could see my line of thinking.
and yes - natural paranoia is always a factor - baddies will come in here and twist what you say - and make it seem like you are so bad when you are a civ. It makes it hard to trust in this game - but the civs? all we have in this game is the thread. We don't have bts. We don't know who our teammates are. We just have to hope and pray that the people we believe are on our side are on our side - and communicate as much info to them as we can - in the thread - because it's all we have.

Yeah, it doesn't help (as you said earlier) that a lot of the people left in the game aren't in here barely at all - helps arouse suspicion against them, IMO.

It's suspicious but obviously suspicions can lead to bad decisions.

Indeed, such as the case with J-Man.

at this point in the game - I don't understand why the rest of the players aren't talking?
