Correction: I finished everything in General Knoxx except the battle with Crawmerax. I get a feeling that will be a bit tough solo.

Deus Ex - I'm in Hong-Kong, game is getting just more and more interesting. So many choices, so many thinking needed, I'm so impressed. And next ? Metal Gear Solid 2 |

My mate bought and didn't like it and sent it back. He apparently hated the save system, or something. My other mates though loves it. |

I'm definitely in the love it category - the saves are a bit strange, but I can live with them. |

Just saw the first vid for the upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC called Undead Nightmare and it looks pretty sweet.

Just picked up a small NES haul at the flea market:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (works fine) - Tecmo Bowl (needs a cleanin') - DuckTales (needs a cleanin') |

I started Resident Evil 4 yesterday, and I've got a feeling it's not
gonna get renewed. Simply not my thing at all. I might give it another
shot later tonight, though.

^ Which one? There's the original, director's cut, REmake for gamecube, RE 0, etc.
Or, are you talking about RE 4, which you mentioned earlier? 'Cause that one is nothing like the others. Edited by JLocke - October 20 2010 at 15:12 |

For those of you who have/want to get Fallout: New Vegas...here's a warning that you may have already heard: It's currently full of some major bugs, which Bethesda is working on fixing as soon as possible. Here's an example of one of the funniest bugs I've seen in any game (don't worry, it doesn't spoil anything for you):

The game itself is great, so far I love how many options there are and how detailed it is, almost more like elder scrolls in that respect. For me the biggest downside is that DC was more evocative of a setting... and the music was better imho

Still playing Deus Ex. Hell, it's a long game. And instead of playing it more times, I always save-load to try various situations, what will result in what conversation. It's a great game.

Been juggling a few Nintendo games lately (not literally!!) after doing some system maintenance. My NES works better than ever now!
I picked up Faxanadu at a local pawn shop: |

Has anyone played Fallout: New Vegas yet? I'm curious as it's made by Obsidian and written by some of my favourite RPG writers.
I've never played Fallout 3 but maybe tempted to if this is good. |

Fallout New Vegas and Halo Reach. Reach only for the matchmaking...I can't motivate myself to try the campaign

Just get Fallout 3 first. It's basically the exact same thing in a different setting. I'd say other than the fact that it's new to me New Vegas is NO better than 3. And you can get 3 for so much cheaper....plus then when you like it you can move onto New Vegas. (as of now Fallout 3 is my favorite game of all time, I'll get back to you after playing more New Vegas.)
