While 'Just for fun' gets my vote, I also like to see how I fare against the masses at PA.

It depends entirely on the poll... sometimes I use them for recommendations, sometimes they're just for fun, and sometimes I'm curious how my opinion compares to others. So no vote from me.

I answer polls because its fun and I have nothing better to contribute. I make polls to collect highly scientific data about the masses here at PA.

When I vote: because it's a good way to make people know what I think.
When I create a poll myself: because I want to know what other people think (and to give my own vote).
Therefore I voted for option #2.

Just for fun unless the poll maker is specifically wanting recommendations.
