Good, old PSX games.

Good old Medievil again

Spyro 2

and GT 2

And also Ufo - Enemy Unknown (or Ufo Defense, or how it is in US)

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

I just had a thought. Why don't we just create a PA Steam group? Would anybody be terribly offended if I just up and made it myself? And for that matter, does anyone have small, square PA logo for the group (or feel like creating one)?

Thinking about getting Halo Reach because my brother has been raving, and his opinions about the Halo series are pretty much mine.

Also the last COD I liked was 3 (and 1 was still the best) but I am hopeful for black ops. Sounds good...
May finally show my 360 some love

Just finished Season 3 of Sam & Max. Pretty good episodes 1-4 but episode 5 was easily the weakest finale yet. Season 2 remains the best but I expected that. The last two episodes of Season 2 were just phenomenal, I'll be surprised if future Sam & Max series ever top that.

Quick note, SW:KOTOR is on sale on Steam for $2.50 if anyone has been living under a rock for the past 7 years. Tongue

No, really ? I installed it four days ago and am currently mastering my skills (play it on easiest difficulty, then play again with more difficult setting etc). And Age II, I (again) installed it about two weeks ago. I'm trying to play Baldurs Gate 2 regularly last few years, but not successfully (I play for few hours and then end).

I love all strategic games like Civilization, Starcraft and the likes, but the above are my favourites.
Especially AoE II (with Conquerors Expansion) is great fun, if you play it as an online game, building locked teams.

And for Baldurs Gate I used a walkthrough. I don't see it as a cheat, because you still have to fight your way out yourself. The walkthrough gives you only the hints, where to look. Also it is helpful to read the tips how to build up your own character. I used the german guide at http://www.baldurs-gate.ch/ and the also very good detailed english guide (only BG II) from Dan Simpson, which can be downloaded here:
http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index.php
A quick google search also produced this:
BG I
http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursgate/locations.php
BG II
http://www.gamebanshee.com/baldursgateii/walkthrough.php
I do not know if they are good, though.

That was only a Tuesday deal.  It's finished now.

I've probably missed the KoToR 2 deal, knowing my luck.  Ah well.

The Dan Simpson guides are the best.  I use them as well. Big smile

You haven't, but it won't be there. Monday was Force Unleashed, Tuesday was KOTOR, Wednesday was Empire at War, Today is Battlefront 2. Tomorrow could technically be KOTOR2, but my guess is that it will be the Jedi Knight series. Why? KOTOR2 isn't even on Steam!

My PS3 just crapped out on me
I put in a DVD and it made an ungodly loud grinding noise then turned off, now it's just making that noise when I turn it on
