2nd Assistant Cameraman, also know as Clapper/Loader.

I hit the slate on TV shows and movies and load film Magazines, but so much more. It's hard to describe. We work between 12 and 18 hours per day,

That's more exciting than about 70% of the jobs out there.

I love it. The only thing to dislike is the long hours. You cannot truly understand how tiring it is until you've done it for a year.

Yup, but it makes you distant from your loved ones. I haven't been to my hometown since March and me and my girlfriend haven't really gotten along that well in the past year... and we live together.

This business is a homewrecker.

“Well, I’m gonna be a famous jazz musician!  I’ve got it all figured out.  I’ll be unappreciated in my own country, but my gutsy blues stylings will electrify the French.  I’ll avoid the horrors of drug abuse, but I do plan to have several torrid love affairs.  And I may or may not die young, I haven’t decided.”
