Ooh, that sounds great indeed. I sounded very heavy and dynamic but not really aggressive at all, which I kind of liked.
Also, that vocalist wears a very cool costume.

Our local prog/metal group hosts a local show with some experimental/avant-garde/metal bands each year.  Last year we got Sleepytime Gorilla Museum to play, and this year there's a very good chance we can get Agalloch. Shocked
The other bands we're planning on asking are Enslaved, Portal, Kayo Dot, and possibly some local bands too.

I know, I'm f*cking pissed I missed it.  The guy who runs it said they were a ton of fun and real cool when they were chilling after the show.

I am not.

Jaga Jazzist are a band I can really see myself liking, I need to look into them more.

Jaga Jazzist is lovely. I've got their latest two, which both have a very magical sound. They're one of the few bands with an overall "happy" sound that I really love (there I'm talking about their latest mostly).

Also, the gig of theirs I visited probably was my favourite so far. They were so passionate on stage and I had constant shivers the first three songs they played or so.
