So anyway, at the actually Address (in an outdoor hall-ish thing) the engineers were sitting by the nurses, and we do our cheer which starts "WE ARE, WE ARE, WE ARE THE ENGINEERS, WE CAN, WE CAN DEMOLISH 40 BEERS..."

to which the nurses respond (higher pitch)  "WE ARE, WE ARE, WE ARE THE NURSES HERE, WE CAN, WE CAN OUTDRINK THE ENGINEERS...etc"

to which we respond "what do we want? NURSES! when do we want them? NOW!"

to which they respond "what do we want? GEERS! when do we want them? NOW!"

and we go "OOOOOO NURSES"

and they go "OOOOOO GEERS"

and everyone else goes "OOOOO, HARMONIC MOTION!" while pelvic thrusting

Sounds like the kind of thing I'd purposely avoid. 

Also, the bar across the street had 1$ draft plus they give you 10$ at the door (for U of A students only), but the lineup went all the way down the block so I didn't really feel like waiting around for hours.  Oh, and no labs for a couple weeks, so I get to sleep in

Very good. As I said my orientation was more a throwing to the wolves

I found it surprising that about 1/4 of the people at the school are engineering students; the only faculty with more is science

You think you're good for not knowing the song?  I don't even pay attention to Penn State football!

I only know a quarter of the first verse and chorus of W&M's song, but I wasn't there very long so I guess it's not so bad.
