Neither had I until I started listening to it and some shoegaze stuff. And then I realized how amazing some of it is. |

Heck it gets influences from punk but how progressive can you be to not have any production whatsoever?

Hmm, I dunno. I am definitely not a happy camper, but I am also not as cool as him. Edited by A Person - September 07 2010 at 20:45 |

I've only delved a bit into shoegaze and there's some decent stuff out there. I like the more metal oriented shoegaze though, stuff like Rosetta or Mouth of the Architect.

Agalloch are where it's at, Amalia. Check them out. They're the best metal band.

Rosetta is pretty good. Haven't heard Mouth of the Architect yet. Two lo-fi bands I like a lot are A Place to Bury Strangers and Titus Andronicus. The second made my current favorite 2010 album. |

You should try going back in time to warn yourself.
I don't trust a person who seems to like every genre in existence, I can't understand it. |

Its a really good album, the vocals for me were a turn off at first but I have grown to appreciate it.
