Seconded......Moore was mainly about pathetic jokey one-liners. Spying was/is a serious, nasty business.
One thing about Craig, tho......his head looked too small for his body.
Point of note : For anyone who's interested, there's a chapter in 'The Man with the Golden Gun' where M reads Bond's dossier :
Father : Scottish
Mother : Swiss
So, Englishmen, Irishmen, and Australians NEED NOT APPLY.

That Roger Daltry guy is my favorite.
Connery is kind of the classiest, but Craig ain't too shabby. I think my first one was Live And Let Die, so Moore works for me. Edited by Slartibartfast - August 21 2010 at 18:44 |

Switch Craig and Brosnan and you'll have my exact list. Connery is quite overrated. |

Connery was the coolest.
But Dalton seemed to match the description in Fleming's books.

Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

Just to be the ball buster-none of the above, he's a fictional character in a series of really good books written by Ian Fleming. These are just actors trying to portray him and each brings their own perspective to the role. We as individuals have our own preferences as to that interpretation. The real correct answer is-"The one I like the best."

John Dee (13 July 1527–1608 or 1609)
He was in the court of Queen Elizebeth the First and he often signed his name followed by 007. He was a Kabbalist amoung other things and that is where the idea of 007 came from.

Thank you, I do enjoy stating the obvious-some one has to do it! That's my point. Personally, I prefer Connery, but Daniel Craig brought an interesting edge to the character too.

Craig's Bond has already become stale. Bring back the gadgets. Bring back "Q" ( John Cleese ) . Best Bond was Lazenby. Best Bond girl was Mrs. Peel ( Diana Rigg ).
