Considering he usually gave himself time to solo within particular moments in particular tracks (City of Tiny Lights, for instance), its pretty obvious that the the backing instrumental will sound the same. That said, I love the fact that Trance-Fusion has the 1988 band on several tracks

Yeah, for me too he's rather way too poppy, that's why I never was really keen on looking for his stuff. But like it usually happens, there's some overlooked/hidden gem in the artist's discography, and knowing that you're a bigger fan of Argentine/Latin American music than I am, you might have known.
I was just curious I recently watched a live clip from him on TV having a neat keyboard set: a Moog and a Rhodes, and some other toys.
