I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far. Such a solid game from what I've got through. The multiplayer is fantastic too.

Ha, shame my brother sold it...I really should've nabbed it off him and given it a try.

Ah well, onto GOW II. Been a while...
Also, need to work on Assassin's Creed. Was majorly stuck in that game...

Yes they're buggy but the games themselves are usually pretty good.

Agreed on all points here. I haven't quite noticed any irritation or bugs in the gameplay though. I absolutely love all of the GTA series, although 4 is the definite low point, it seems like the producers forgot how to make a game fun with that one.

The multiplayer is fantastic too, will be spending a lot of time on that with friends over the coming weeks.

Yeah, I no longer read Gamespot reviews because all they do is whore themselves out to hype and production value. That said, I still hear good things about Red Dead being interesting beyond being well-produced (which Fallout 3 was not).

Absolutely true of AP. It's quite buggy, though some tweaks allow for significant improvement. Some fuzzy design choices with the mouse hurt as well, though I may be somewhat sheltered from that by my G9.

^ I'll probably rent it in the next few days if I have the time. It DOES look really interesting.

Mario Kart 64
Uncharted 2
Namco Museum Essentials for PS3 (Pac-man, Digdug, Galaga, etc.)
Mario Tennis (for N64)
Donkey Kong Country (1,2 & 3)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (haven't played this in a couple months)
Super Mario Brothers 3

I'm hoping Final Fantasy 6 someday gets released on the PS3 network, then I'll definitely be playing that.  I may replay Final Fantasy 7 in the meantime.

I don't play video games much, but if I do, it's usually these games.

Got a point there.  I usually love their games, but at the same time, they're usually glitchfests as well.  I blank them out.  If it doesn't interfere with gameplay, I don't mind too much

Finished Red Dead Redemption; such a brilliant game. Some of the best story telling I've seen in a game

^ Really? Wow. Didn't you say you were a MGS fan? For you to say that about Read Dead, the story MUST be great.

Well, to be fair, he said storytelling. And MGS is sometimes great at storytelling (Metal Gear Solid 3), often downright pathetically haphazard (Metal Gear Solid 2). Good story, worth telling, but janky and awkward.

I went into a GameStop today and spent a good 20 minutes trying really hard to find a game worth its money for the XBOX 360. I came out empty handed. No, I am not going to pay $54for a used game with a 12 hour story and nothing original. Die in a fire. I thought about getting Fallout 3, because Bethesda and I are bros since Morrowind, but the add-ons would push it to $50+. Then I thought about getting Silent Hill Homecoming, but then it was $17 used and everyone says it kind of sucks. Welp.

Games = one diamond in a pile of deceptive quartz.

Uh, Half.com has recent games for about $30.
Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition is about $42.

Beat GOW II

My brother and best friend have been raving about
Demon's Souls ever since it came out. Thinking of picking it up, any one played?

Also thinking of buying Borderlands.

Demon's Souls is absolutely amazing, and sickeningly irritating at the same time... I'd really only recommend it if you play a lot of RPG's and want something super challenging. Expect to die a lot and also expect to rage quit a lot...

Borderlands is pretty good, although I've never actually finished it. It's really great to play with friends online, not so much to play completely single player though imo. Kind of repetitive after a while, but playing online keeps it really fun and fresh. Basically an FPS with some slight RPG elements.
