I don't like it very much.... I only have this and Ommadawn from Mike Oldfield (and I like Ommadawn much more). Tubular Bells is just too all over the place and inconsistent IMO. Do you like it?

I just listened to it again earlier today, and I think I can summarize why I don't like it in a few sentences...

First of all, it's way too long. It just drags, and drags, and drags. There are also a bunch of climatic builds in the album, but none of them build anywhere! There are so many subtle parts that start to develop well, but they don't lead to any climaxes or emotional parts. This is probably a 2 star album from me.

I totally agree, however wouldn't review it now myself since I admit I haven't listened to it many times.
