You know, I've never really been a big fan of early Genesis.  However, I am enjoying my little marathon here.  Revisiting them for the first time in a couple of years and I am enjoying what I am hearing.  It is definitely an album that is worthy of much of its praise.  I think that my problem has mostly been with Peter Gabriel's voice and the nonsensical British lyrics that I don't understand.  LOL  On this particular listen, his voice mostly didn't bother me (I may have been de-sensitized by last week's Peter Gabriel marathon).  That and I am just listening to the music and not really trying to understand the words.

I don't feel like tackling the Lamb tonight, so a bit of a diversion and a tribute to RJ Dio.

Not yet! Just getting into them and I'm loving those screechy  violins. Will definitely try to get my hands on their other albums as well.

I am only familiar with the eponymous albums :

but out of the three albums reviewed on the french website 'guts of darkness' (the most eclectic music website I am aware of) that's the one that is the most praised.

Yes, it appears it's same on PA as well. I only heard I The Key from The Magus the other day and loved it, so I came across Abelard and Heloise, which is amazing after the first audition.

If one of them isn't My Ass Is On Fire, your ass may actually be on fire... LOL

On the way home wrapped up this:

An oldie but goodie that always lifts my spirits and I'm probably going to watch the bonus live video tonight.

Put this new one in for rest of the trip:
