I have a Tokai Super Edition, very nice guitar to play.
I got told by a guitar shop that it's a fairly rare guitar, I haven't seen many around in shops etc.
The paint on mine was origionaly like Van Halens Yellow and Black stripe guitar, although
when my Uncle gave it to me, he painted it black because he was in a gothy sort of band.

All these pictures are off the net, not my actual guitars but very close.
1994 American Standard Strat - I replaced bridge with Lace Sensor.
 Washburn WI-64 (Nice Inexpensive guitar which is actually the one I dink around on most these days)
 My main guitar back in da day was a Peavey Tracer with a holofinish and a reverse headstock - very metul
I have a mexican p-bass for recording and a stock $300 yamaha keyboard that does more than I'll ever be able to use.
My main axe is actually this workhorse of a model:
 Taylor 414ce

Gibson Les Paul Studio, bought around '86 since I'd always wanted a Les Paul and some $ fell into my lap. Ferrari Red. It's a great machine.

First one was a cheaper-than-cheap little Memphis, moved on to a black Les Paul custom (built from a Gibson kit), then a very nice Strat variation by a Japanese maker with a Kahler trem system. I currently play a slimline Ovation acoustic with a cutaway body and built-in tuner.

 Ibanez AFS85T, lovely guitar, especially considering the price and the one that I tend to waste my time on. It can handle any type of music, even metal.  Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR. Very powerful sound, so I mostly use this one for metal.  I know, it isn't a guitar, but I simply love my Weber Gallatin mandolin. Very versatile and wonderful sound. In no particular order: Fender Telecaster Fender (mexico-Ole") Jazz Bass Fender Acoustic of unknown origin (japan? Korea?) Dean EAB Acoustic/electric bass Washburn Acoustic Epiphone Strat style ripoff Ibanez Bass I also have a bunch of synthesizers, but that's for another thread. I play original experimental rock. It's a lot easier than learning other people's music! |

Ibanez RG 220 (I believe)
My first guitar I wanted something not to expensive but effective. Always been a fan of Ibanez. Great sound, good quality, and the Line 6 amp really aids. Not as good as my brother's old line 6, but damn fine!  Edited by JJLehto - June 04 2010 at 23:49 |

I've got more of this stuff than I could photograph! The absolute queen of the collection is my custom-made Hugh Manson fretless bass, see my icon. Hugh is luthier to Steve Howe, John Paul Jones, Martin Barre and many others.
If you ever see JPJ onstage with Them Crooked Vultures, you'll see the twin to my bass, his is "Eric the Red," a fretless one. My main 6-string is a 1973 Les Paul Standard. I also have lots of amps including Mesa-Boogie, but these days, I mostly play through electronic amps and high-quality computer amplification systems. Much simpler and easier to control.

JJ, what Line 6 amp is that? I've been looking at getting a Spider III 15 watt recently.
My first (and only) guitar: 
Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus. Don't have anything to compare it to, but fantastic for most stuff that I'm playing right now. |
