They're pretty darn good from what i can remember. I'll have to check those others that you mentioned. About "Asian" Post-Rock, i haven't heard too many bands, but i know that most of us here are familiar with LITE & Toe. I'm a big fan of the band Naan; (from Japan) i also like Sgt., but they don't hold my interest for too long.

I agree that those bands you mentioned are really great.
There are more bands to check out:

Hologram (JPN)
Presence of Soul (JPN)
Glittering Blackness, Fall (Korea) Their debut EP. is highly recommended for those who like melancholic melodies.
Loro's (Korea)
Deepset (Malaysia)
The Observatory (Singapore) This band, I think, has variety of genres, but their music is usually coined as Space Rock.

Dont forget to add Envy to the list of Asian Post-Rock! A Dead Sinking Story is one of my favorite albums right now. The most emotional music you may ever hear.

Two new 65daysofstatic songs. Tiger Girl and Crash Tactics And album art.
It's out on the 26th.

I kind of have to say meh on all counts, although some of Crash Tactics was pretty good, if not very post-rock. I used to love One Time for All Time, but it seems they've gotten worse or I've gotten over them.

I've just found some lesser gems from China such as oNEwAY, Fang4 Gao1, Lava/Ox/Sea (this band's albums can be downloaded for free from their myspace blog), Hualun and 48V. Even though these bands are not as great as the bands from Japan, they are still cool and unique.

Just received the new Ef album in the mail yesterday - called Mourning Golden Morning.

A review is up on The Silent Ballet site http://thesilentballet.com/dnn/Reviews/tabid/54/ctl/Details/mid/438/ItemID/3248/Default.aspx.  Good music.

Anyone hear the new My Education album called Sunrise?

Forget all this new Kayo Dot album and 65DOS stuff. You need to give some of this a shot: http://www.last.fm/music/Fire%2520Spoken%2520by%2520the%2520Buffalo?ac=Fire%20Spoken%20By

Also, i agree that "Sunrise" is pretty kick ass.

hello there)

been touring Russia/Ukraine lately, got few shots from Kharkov show. We had an half-improvised set with a friend of mine, guitarist Bre, playing good old classic like THE CURE, THE SMITHS, etc. Would this be interesting for a Posty Thread, you may ask impatiently? Sure, me answering, and here's why:

have a nice week everyone!
