Hello everyone.

I took the liberty of adding a couple of DVD's from the Gouveia Art Rock festival:

I then found out that one of them (2004) had been previously added on Periferia del Mondo's page:

This last one has less information, plus its not really a band release. I think it could be removed.
Bigger on the inside.

It is the same album, just UK/US editions. Cover picture is the same, the difference is just in track lists. I believe we should leave just one (UK-original edition, it has reviews as well), and delete another. Happily US version doesn't have reviews. Different track lists could be mentioned inside the UK edition, as we're doing it usually:

This is the same album ( just LP/CD with bonuses version). Cover picture is the same.

This could be deleted (has noreviews):

then this one should stay, has some reviews. After just some info correction will be done.

^Nope. Only admins are empowered to delete albums.

There are two versions of La Chiesa Soundtrack listed under different artists in different genre categories:

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=18209
http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=2663

The 13-track version of the album (listed under Various Artists) has six tracks performed by Goblin (2,4,6,11,12,13) and five by Keith Emerson (1,3,5,9 and 10). This version has 9 out of 10 tracks that are available on the 10-track version with the exception of track nr.5 "Floe - Martin Goldray".

The 10-track version (listed under Goblin) only has three tracks performed by Goblin (2, 4 and 7) and four by Keith Emerson (1,3,6 and 10).

I would appreciate a comment regarding this entry. Unhappy

First one (with Russian text) is original, the second one should be deleted.

There is all discogs as confirmation for this action with all re-releases ( in Russian only, sorry Wink)

(for those who is interested in details and understand Russian)

I believe that both cases aren't easy: Masada released all line of albums recorded by other artists. So, no strabge they are placed in both discogs in few cases. I think , there the principal decision should be done.

By the way, I reported this problem around a month ago. There for sure the best decision will be to have a link between same albums in two artists discographies (if technically possible). If not, I think possibly it is better to leave albums in original artists discographies, not in Masada. This decision will be more practical: it is easier just to control Masada discogs only ( and clean it time to time from these albums additions), than to control all separate artists pages.

Deleted ,thanks John as well.

The same album, one under the Masada header, the other in the Secret Chiefs 3 page. Interesting. Another example of why we should be able to hotlink an album under two different performers.

Album under Masada is deleted, thanks to John. Info about some Masada albums ,placed under original artists, is placed on Masada's bio.

I found this Secret Chiefs 3 album added under Midas - a Japanese Symphonic Prog band that has nothing whatsoever to do with them:

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26924

The same album is also present in the Secret Chiefs 3 discography:

Yes, but collabs could change entries. That's what I'm doing if I accidentally make a double entry; I simply leave one be, and change the other one's picture, name, associated artist, year, tracklist, everything; turning it into another album - or any other PA entry for that matter (some Beatles compilations were actually my doubled entries by other artists originally).

Of course, it makes sens to do it only if you make a duplicated entry on the spot, while there are no ratings and reviews yet.
