I know of a few bands that don't coincide with my taste as well. Can we ban them too?? No. Didn't think so

I don't even dislike either of them completely (though I'm not a fan of DT) but the amount of threads devoted to those artists is what annoys people. Combine that with the fact that many of the threads made for either of them has been made at least 5-10 times before and you've got a lot of people annoyed.

To go one further, and to answer the original poster's proposal at the same time: Here's an idea for a rule for new and old members alike:
How about stop insulting other members? This goes for their musical tastes, how they express it, what aspect of it they want to discuss, etc...There are far greater injustices in the world like hunger, bigotry, oppression, cruelty to animals and people, where frustrations can be justly placed in order to achieve something more worthwhile, rather than waste energy on scolding and belittling some prog fan eager for interaction in a community. I do know of at least two very good long-time members of PA who don't dare post here any more because of the condescending and insulting attitudes of many members.

I love you J (and the new album!)

Just kidding J. Though I do appreciate your respectful posts, even when you're in a heated debate. And I do love the album. And the fact of the availability of the Flac download.
@Henry: "A little 'zest'"!!! LOL!

It's not about taste. It's about endless repetition.

Are you talking about the band or the handle of a hammer?

I thought a screwdriver. A long-handled hammer bangs hard.

A screwdriver is to sharp but perhaps the handle of that would be easier for Blowin Free's Grandma.Most have extra grip now for those difficult twists.
