I finished Borderlands (PC) and had a real blast.
Lost interest during playthrough 2 when I hit the level cap of 50 and apart from the fights getting more difficult, it couldn't keep my attention any more.
All in all though one of the best games I played this year, together with Prototype.

^How was Prototype? It looks pretty good, and a lot of my friends love it.
Has anyone in here played/got Devil May Cry 4? I'm thinking about getting it, from what I've seen it looks pretty sweet. |

As of late I bought a crap load of old games that I never beat and have been playing through them. Right now: The first 3 splinter cells |

As I've mentioned in the SR, I've bought and played through Braid and Mirror's Edge since last night, both are a lot of fun. Also got Audiosurf, haven't played it yet.

^Mirror's Edge was awesome fun whilst it lasted, my only complaint was that it was really short. Still fantastic though.
Braid looks pretty sweet, I might get it from the PSN store sometime soon. JJ, awesome choice on getting a PS3 Hope you enjoy it. |

Cant wait for my PS3 man! I LOVED Uncharted. Can't wait to play 2. As well as some oldies.....Warhawk, Assassins Creed (and 2). Also got this game that I remember my brother playing, Genji. I remember it being somewhat fun and you got to go to this alternative, acid trip universe and fight ninjas.

If you've got Steam on your computer, Braid is only $2.50 right now. I've considered getting Dragon Age: Origins for 360 but I'm going to hold off for now, it looks like fun though. |

I actually still have steam on my comp from way back when I had Half Life 2 installed. Last time I tried (to use it for portal) it was ALL screwed up though..

Ah, mine works alright. The games I got last night were the first I've bought from Steam since the Box was released.

I don't have Steam unfortunately
Dragon Age: Origins is super awesome, really great game. Insanely replayable as well, I'm just into my second play through after about a month of solid work. AND there's two expansions already Uncharted 2 is one of the two or three best games I've ever played. JJ, make sure you get Metal Gear Solid 4 sometime after getting your PS3 - Best game on PS3 imo. If you like Splinter Cell, you'll love this. |

I bet. Uncharted was just, amazing. I really was in awe. I LOVE Splinter Cell, the MGS games that I've seen/played were pretty good as well. |

^Yeah, they're available as DLC's. I pre-ordered my copy so I got the Return To Ostagar DLC for free. I haven't even gotten up to it yet though

Nice. I'll have to check the game out soon, I've really enjoyed all the other Bioware RPGs I've played.

Yeah, I think you should. Its worth it on replay value alone.

Thats alright, I usually play through games really slowly.
I think I'll get it. Its either that or Saint's Row 2 which I'm getting next. |

Well Joel, (or anyone that'd be interested) I just got my PS3 and have set it up, (well in the process).
My gamer tag is: AngusMcHaggus (I couldnt believe "The Angry Scotsman" was taken!) I dont have many games right now Uncharted 1 &2, Warhawk are the only ones I have that can do multiplayer I think. Although I also have Assassins Creed 1 &2, Genji, and planning on getting the God of War pack and possibly Saints Row 2 Edited by JJLehto - December 26 2009 at 19:53 |
