I've finished work until the 4th.  Yey!

Now finally I may find time to hear all those 2009 albums I have yet to hear.  May... it probably won't happen.

Robert will have to try that if he hasn't already.

Burritos are pretty good, but they don't have the appeal for me right now. Tongue

I made burritos last night- mashed and fried the pinto beans myself.  Approve

And I had burritos for breakfast this morning.  My plumbing should be like a friggin Slip 'n Slide soon enough.  Big smile

Listened to Epignosis's album today.  I must say, it was pretty good.  It made me want to write my own Prog whenever I get the chance.

I am pleased you liked it.

Yeah, I can see why it's so popular around here.  You seem to be getting really good reviews on it, so congratulations.  I'm surprised that Bird and Alex gave it 5 stars after listening to their music (their music is Avant-prog, while yours was definitely Symphonic.)  Still, great work, and I'm looking forward to your next release.

Well, Alex and David have some extremely eclectic tastes.  Alex goes on these kicks where he listens to nothing but one kind of music for months, and then all of a sudden that kind of music loses its appeal and its onto something else.  LOL

David pretty consistently likes metal, but likes most anything else too.

No music ever loses any appeal to me; I like Yes now just as much as I ever have. Confused

I like beer, but I don't want it for breakfast (i.e., it has no appeal to me in the morning).  Wink

Well, that analogy works if breakfast is anywhere from 1 day to a couple months, and beer is any band or select sub-genre. LOL

I was watching Conan last night and he had Kid Cuddy on as his musical guest.  The song that he performed was actually quite good.  He had a DJ spinning a record (at least I think that was what he was doing because there were guitars and drums but no guitarists or drummers) and he had a string section consisting of 4 women.  I've not heard of this guy before but apparently he is having a pretty good year.

That's what I find ironic about a lot folks even here.  Many people only know "Carry on Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind" and judge the band entirely on a couple of radio hits.

That would be like judging Yes on the basis of "Owner of a Lonely Heart."  Confused

And by the way, why is "Carry On Wayward Son" crapped on?  When else do you get to hear kick ass organ soloing, quasi-religious lyrics, and stunning riffs on FM radio?  Big smile

I agree, you should judge an entire band's career by one song, but seriously, "Carry On" is a great song. He only likes classic rock that is on games that he has played. And also the songs that mention balls.

No offense, but your might need to take your brother to a therapist along with a wheelbarrow full of cash.  Wacko

He also just defended his listening to rap by saying "I don't even pay attention to it", my rebuttal was "What's the point of listening to something you won't pay full attention to?" No answer. Confused

Why does listening to rap need defending?  Wink  I indulge from time to time, dawg.  Cool

But I'm much pickier when it comes to rap.  I don't tolerate music about "bitches" and "hos" and so forth.  Be respectful and pull up your pants, a****les!  Angry

I don't understand it at all. Anyways, see you guys later, BBL.
