SR VIII: Vander Got Run Over By A Reindeer!

Headache from yesterday gone, now DOMS (is that what you call "muscular fever"?) in my right arm's elbow joint, either an unexplainable reaction out of doing nothing out of the ordinary the day before, either a psychological trigger due to hearing that tomorrow's I'll spend 6 hours in supermarkets shopping with my father.

Also thinking of taking a break from PA until 2010, but that probably won't happen.

Nope. My sister was listening to "Carry on My Wayward Son" because it was once on a show she likes (Supernatural) because she likes to stare at one of the actors. His taste in music is something to be desired. 

That's what I find ironic about a lot folks even here.  Many people only know "Carry on Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind" and judge the band entirely on a couple of radio hits.

That would be like judging Yes on the basis of "Owner of a Lonely Heart." 

And by the way, why is "Carry On Wayward Son" crapped on?  When else do you get to hear kick ass organ soloing, quasi-religious lyrics, and stunning riffs on FM radio? 

Personally, I have always liked Carry On Wayward Son and Dust In The Wind, but with my tastes that probably comes as absolutely no surprise to anyone.  i.e. as stated by Captain Obvious.

No answer.

Why does listening to rap need defending?    I indulge from time to time, dawg. 

But I'm much pickier when it comes to rap.  I don't tolerate music about "bitches" and "hos" and so forth.  Be respectful and pull up your pants, a****les! 

I was watching Conan last night and he had Kid Cuddy on as his musical guest.  The song that he performed was actually quite good.  He had a DJ spinning a record (at least I think that was what he was doing because there were guitars and drums but no guitarists or drummers) and he had a string section consisting of 4 women.  I've not heard of this guy before but apparently he is having a pretty good year.
