So I guess your not that harsh of a reviewer, then, Bird?

Wow.  While I certainly enjoyed it, I have a feeling that Alex was just trying to earn brownie points with Robert there.  Maybe so Robert could give his albums 5 stars back.  (I've read his reaction in the "Casualties of Applied Metaphysics" thread.)

I think that some of the 1-star reviews on "Still the Waters" are kind of unfair.  Of course the production isn't of the highest quality, the amateur production is part of the charm.  Anyways, 4 stars from me.

I haven't even ever used it. I need a larger hard drive to dual boot, but if I had one, Mr. linux would be there. My neighbor keeps trying to convert me, but Windows 7 has been pretty nice.

I would rate it the same, I loved it, but I think that Epignosis still has something better to offer, that is why I anticipate all new releases. Smile

Oh, I can be pretty harsh. I just need to start posting reviews again is all. Most albums I've heard would get 3 or 4 stars though. I only give an album 1 star if it's pure garbage, and 2 if I don't like it, but other people would.

I also don't rate on the basis of how "prog" something is anymore, because of how subjective it is. As for Robert's album, I flipped in between a 4 and a 5 for awhile, so really it's more like a 4.5 for me.

Agreed, except I put it at about a 3.  But I did think Robert had a lot of good ideas and I expect good things from him in the future.

Whitesnake reference.  Nice.  Although it would go better with a Tawny Kitaen picture posting.
