So I guess your not that harsh of a reviewer, then, Bird?

Wow. While I certainly enjoyed it, I have a feeling that Alex was just trying to earn brownie points with Robert there. Maybe so Robert could give his albums 5 stars back. (I've read his reaction in the "Casualties of Applied Metaphysics" thread.)
I think that some of the 1-star reviews on "Still the Waters" are kind of unfair. Of course the production isn't of the highest quality, the amateur production is part of the charm. Anyways, 4 stars from me.

I would rate it the same, I loved it, but I think that Epignosis still has something better to offer, that is why I anticipate all new releases.

Oh, I can be pretty harsh. I just need to start posting reviews again is all. Most albums I've heard would get 3 or 4 stars though. I only give an album 1 star if it's pure garbage, and 2 if I don't like it, but other people would. I also don't rate on the basis of how "prog" something is anymore, because of how subjective it is. As for Robert's album, I flipped in between a 4 and a 5 for awhile, so really it's more like a 4.5 for me.

Agreed, except I put it at about a 3. But I did think Robert had a lot of good ideas and I expect good things from him in the future.

Here we go again on our own. Going down the only road we've ever known.

Whitesnake reference. Nice. Although it would go better with a Tawny Kitaen picture posting.
