I hate it when teachers are late, I was supposed to get my English grade 2 days ago and it's still not there. :(

I'm used to it, my high school teachers did that all the time.

Also, the end of season 10 of Stargate SG-1 feels like a bit of a cop out.

I'm listening to their track Money Machine (on their PA page) and its one of the most disgustingly unoriginal things I've ever heard. Absolutely undeniable rip-off of The Beatles.

Everyone listen to it nao.

I have this one:

Bigelf Closer to Doom (10 track version) album cover
I'm not impressed, but it isn't terrible.

I bought the 2-disc set of Shostakovich string quartets 2,3,7,8 and 12 tonight and the second disc has a bump, so the last movement of #3 skips horribly...time to get it replaced, I hate getting defective products. Dead

It's because they knew they were getting cancelled and wanted to save something for The Ark of Truth, which finally wraps up the damn Ori. They had a similar problem when they thought they were going to be cancelled at the end of Season 8, but then they weren't.

I understand that, but it was a cheap way to end the series. It felt similar to the way that J K Rowling purposely trashed the epilogue on the seventh Harry Potter book. I mean, most of the episode will only be of any importance to one person! It means nothing to everyone else. Oh well, I find most final episodes/ parts of a series to be more disappointing than I'd like, a glaring exception to that would be the end of LotR.

I have Cheat the Gallows, their newest one. It's okay if I'm in the mood for it.

Yeah, I can see why it's so popular around here.  You seem to be getting really good reviews on it, so congratulations.  I'm surprised that Bird and Alex gave it 5 stars after listening to their music (their music is Avant-prog, while yours was definitely Symphonic.)  Still, great work, and I'm looking forward to your next release.

Just because they write one type of music doesn't mean they can't enjoy other types. Wink

I've grown away a bit from some symphonic prog bands, and I dislike most "retro-prog", but Robert's album just feels like music that comes from the heart and soul. And if I like the music a little, then it usually gets a high rating from me.

I agree, I enjoy music like that more just because of it.
