Hell, I haven't even got a Zappa or Rush album either. My dad has one KC album which I bought him as a gift a few months ago (Larks Tongues In Aspic) and I hate it.

You need to check out Zappa...and as for hating LTiA...what don't you like about it, if I may ask?

^I just don't like really anything about it at all. I don't think its bad, but there's just something I can't stand about the way it sounds. Its well played, but I still can't stand it. Too eclectic-y for me, although I have only given it one or two real listens.

Also, I'm getting Hot Rats for chrismtas, so that one's solved

Ah, I love the holiday of Chrismtas.  Christmas isn't bad either.  Hot Rats is a good album, I prefer Weasels Ripped My Flesh but it's definitely not for everyone, while apparently everyone likes Hot Rats.

Joel, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that our taste in music is different. Smile

Fair enough to say, in your top artists I only listen to... 4

(PF, Genesis, Radiohead, Sigur Ros and some VdGG)

I think I can safely agree with that statement.  At least Joel's getting into Magma though, that's a start. Wink

There is hope yet. Now if only we can get him to say Western Culture is the best album ever.

I don't even think it's the best album ever, though it is really good.

It was an example :|

It is a really good album, I think my favorite HC album that I've heard is Concerts, and my favorite song from that is "Oslo".

I haven't heard any other full albums by them yet, but LegEnd and Unrest are both coming for Christmas. Thumbs Up

Legend/Leg End is good, I don't like Unrest as much but it is good as well. I want to get the complete Henry Cow box set. Very very much.

As do I, but there's a lot of other artists/composers I need to explore before I get it.

I don't have E-Re yet either (again, Christmas) nor do I have all of their live recordings.  Or all their DVDs (Myths & Legends 2 for Christmas as well Tongue) but other than that I have all their albums.
