I forgot about "Oh Yeah" being different lyrically too.

Apparently, the video I'm looking for isn't on Youtube anymore. But all this talk is making me want to listen to Can.

Tago Mago is definitely up next.

Same here.

First Utterance is incredibly awesome.

I really hope the rumors about album #3 from them turn out to be true.

Wootton mentions the need for new material for Comus pushing back his classical works on the band's website, so it's definitely got some substance behind it.

http://www.comusmusic.co.uk/roger.html

He talks about it near the bottom of the page there.

Sounds like it's almost surely going to happen then. Big smile

Yeah, and I just found more positive evidence on the band's Myspace.  After stating the reasons why they haven't toured the US since reforming, the band also said this: "Presently our priority is to write and record new material - a process that is well underway."

Another one of the great things about Can is their drummer.

Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint may be my favorite performance by Pat Metheny.  It's definitely between that and The Way Up right now.

Now are we going have to put up a Can tribute thread, so Alex can reprimand me for misquoting?

Some Krautrock is as creepy as Hell.  Especially the one I'm listening to now (Ash Ra Tempel.)

I've only heard that one, but I can agree that it's amazing.  I'm getting Ashra's New Age of Earth for Christmas, so I'll get to check that one out soon enough too. Big smile

I kinda like Tago Mago.

...and by that I mean it's one of my top 3 albums at the moment.

I think Can is trippy in general.
