I feel that I should take out my wheel and pedals for a round with Grand Prix Legends again. I loved that game. I still do. Latest news: Mercedes is hoping to announce Michael Schumacker as one of their drivers for next year. Their dream team is him and Nico Rosberg. *dunk* (my head hitting the floor after fainting in sheer exitement) |

Schumacher! I dont believe that for a second as its non of the F1 news sites (the more reliable ones at least) and he's very loyal to Ferrari.
For the record, Mercedes own 75.1 percent of Brawn GP and will rename it Mercedes GP next year running in the famous Silver Arrows colour scheme, with Brawn and Nick Fry owning the remaining 24.9 percent. I've read a report suggesting that Button was actually pushed by Mercedes because they didnt want him in favour of an all German line-up (Rosberg and probably Heidfeld).
I can see why Button would go to McLaren next year, its the only other top seat available, but Hamilton is one of the two drivers that I doubt that he can beat over a year (the other being Alonso).

Eddie Jordan believe Schumacher will join Mercedes next year. See http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8368107.stm Mercedes has suddenly gone very silent over the last 48 hours. Schumacher has said he has some unfinished business. He desperate wanted to race that second Ferrari last year as a replacement for Massa. Mercedes funded Schumacher career in the early years, remember. Both he, Brawn and Haug were locked in long conversations at Abu Dhabi. I do not think they were discussing the new Transatlantic album. Mercedes did not buy Brawn on the spur of the moment. They had Rosberg signed up and must have been pretty sure they could get the biggest name of them all. Their long lost son, no less. Something is brewing........ |
