Well, I liked Voltron when I was a kid, so The Power Rangers were really nothing more than a souped-up version of a cartoon I loved as a kid. |

Also, it goes without saying that I was (and really still am) a He-Man nut.
I also loved all good vs evil hero shows of the 80s...Thundercats, Silverhawks, BraveStarr, and one I'll bet you whippersnappers know nothing about- Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors. |

Atom Heart Mother is good, Ummagumma is less, Saucerful is god.
Besides, everything of that entire period except More is miles better than Pipes. |

It was an awesome cartoon about plants that turned into diabolical vehicles with guns in their mouths and saws coming out of the roofs, and the evil master had testicles coming out of his head or something. Yeah, it was from the Japanese. |

You realize it's hard for me to keep track of the 1237127643187 TV shows that the Japanese exported in the 80s, right? |

Here he is in vehicle form (as a toy...you know these cartoons were just 23 minute commercials ): |

Finally got around to listening to more than one Maudlin of the Well album. This time it was "Leaving Your Body Map."

The only cartoons I remember getting really into as a kid was, the Animaniacs, Histeria, and Batman: The Animated Series.
No wonder I have a sarcastic sense of humor. |

I feel nostalgic for Looney Tunes and old Tom and Jerry.

Now that was an amazing cartoon. Piece of trivia: Do you know who did the voice of The Joker in that cartoon? Why, none other than Mr. Mark Hamill! |
