The f**k?
"Most religious time of the year" my ass.

Those are some of the most childish atheists I've ever seen.  LOL

And then there's this prince:

For some atheists, the proximity to believers is even closer. Jim Wright, a retired merchandiser, lives with his 92-year-old mother in St. Paul. She "believes all that crap," he said.

"She wants me to come back to God, but I can't because he never existed," Wright said. This Christmas, he said, "I told her if she wants lights on the side of the house that she needs to do it. She's long since given up on the tree."

Same here, I have no problem with the religious christmas spirit, it really does no harm. It's not like it happens all time.

I like Christmas for the period it is.
I like getting presents on this basis, and giving none.
I don't like the boring Christmas meal. I'd actually like to start going somewhere with friends.

Christmas for me comes down to the Charlie Brown christmas special.  I watch it every year and enjoy Linus' speech on the true meaning of Christmas, the whole show brings me back to the neighborhood I grew up in.  Besides that ritual I just enjoy spending the day with my family.

Beyond that I could care less about lights, presents, office parties, and shopping.
...that moment you realize you like "Mob Rules" better than "Heaven and Hell"

Office parties on The Office are pretty funny, that counts for something doesn't it? I like one where Meredith gets drunk and is belly dancing in a room by herself.

I have so much Christmas spirit, I would put up my Christmas tree for Christmas, and then because work becomes extremely busy after the first of the year, I would still have my Christmas tree up as of April 15th.  I would remove a decoration here or there in passing, but I just didn't have the time nor energy to take the whole thing down.  I would joke that it was Valentine's Day tree in February, and my St. Patrick's Day tree in March, and of course my Easter tree in April.   I haven't put it up the last couple of years though, and I have decided that I kind of prefer that tradition.

I have no shame whatsoever. Approve

In fact, I couldn't stand watching Pokemon (as anime) for too long. On the other hand, in addition to the cards, I also completed the Pokedex in the Gameboy games (before I borrowed them to someone , who deleted what I saved; I called him an a****le, I regret that now).

In terms of television, Digimon > Pokemon.

Pokemon > Digimon at everything else though.

Yu-Gi-Oh was an okay show for a bit. I never understood what people saw in the card game though.

If you're referring to the original one, then Clap.

When I was a kid Ultraman was all the rage.  I loved that show.  I think that Johnny Socko was another show that I was really in to.  (I think that was what it was called but maybe that was just the robot's name).  I think that there was something with G-Force too.  It seems like that show was a precursor to either Transformers or the Power Rangers.  It seems like there was 4 or 5 kids wearing different colored costumes who would come together and become one big superhero with the attributes of the 4 or 5 kids.  I think that they would say G-Force or something and their powers would merge.  Forgive my hazy memory, but these were shows from like 35 years ago.

No, it got better for me with the next seasons (not the last two ones though), rather than the original show.

I didn't invest in cards, it's awful to play that way.

All I remember is some epic duel in a castle against some guy who's name I can't remember. And that the whole thing took almost half a season or something like that.

My memory's a bit hazy on it. Embarrassed

Yes, they hardly ever ran out of cliffhangers.

Normally the words "Pink Floyd" and "underrated" don't go together, but I think that "Alan's Pyschedelic Breakfast" is a very underrated song.  So is AHM in general.
