I like Snow Goose...for those moments when I want to induce a coma. That's a bad thing by the way.

I love Snow Goose.
No need to further develop the idea.

Speaking of brilliant albums, David's listening to another one right now I think Eight Flew Over, One Was Destroyed was #11 on my Ultimate PA Song List a year ago.
edit: Oh, he was, his sig was just late Great stuff now as well.

So liking The Snow Goose makes me have a horrible taste in music?
But I also like Tangerine Dream and Terry Riley, doesn't that justify anything?

Also Louis Wain is awesome, which was the real reason I came here.

You like TD, so I guess that makes up for it. Haven't heard of Terry Riley though. @Pekka: Indeed. Frengers is eargasmic.

Not just horrible. Mind-numbingly dreadful to excruciatingly painful is probably closer to the mark.

Not in the slightest.

What does "n.b." stand for, because I hope it means that you're joking.

Pat in the Atheist threads?
Of course, I bowed out a few days ago.
Mike needs a friend.

The winks mean I'm joking. The n.b. stands for "nota bene"

Oh, I'm far too uninterested to have a sustained discussion in there. I'll just post sporadically and then be on my way. No one is going to convince anyone of anything, it's the internet for crying out loud.

I like Mike. Mike is my friend. However, I still choose to ignore the religion/anti-religion threads.

I like Snow Goose too. It's good for me for when I just want to sit back and have something playing in the background without interfering too much with what I'm doing, and it's fun enough to listen to with the majority of my attention as well. Still, it's not anywhere near the excellence of many other albums I enjoy.

I remember liking Rhyader but then passed out midway through the album. Just nothing memorable there IMO. I'd much rather listen to Mirage (if Camel was all that was available )

Snow Goose is the only Camel I have so far, and I keep planning to get more but then it gets pushed aside by more RIO/Zeuhl/Canterbury/random music.
