I'm especially curious about those Kraftwerks. Mamiffer was good stuff, they were great opening for Isis and the album felt really good as well. |
How much do you like Krautrock? If you like it you'll like those two albums. If you don't, you probably won't.

Actually I'm not very familiar with the genre, but interested, so I guess this'll be my introduction
Just a couple of days ago I was whining about not finding Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue anywhere. This morning I made a bid on it on a Finnish auction site just to be told by my girlfriend that she had just ordered it for me for Christmas from the band's website. Then at the record fair I accidentally found a copy while browsing through some Swedish shop's collection. It was painful leaving it there, but I'll get it soon. Twice if the other guy doesn't continue bidding

I personally love all 3, but I agree NMS is the worst of the batch.

Also, David's mother was the biggest disappointment of my year. All was going well until she smacked me round the face for suggesting she listen to Mew.

Apparently that's exactly what she does to David when he says certain bands/artists own her sorry excuse for music taste.
Barry Manilow just doesn't cut it love, sorry.

Oh and for anyone who's wondering, I've been reading the "Book of Stonebeard: 100 ways of pissing off people in 3 easy steps".

St. Anger is quite good, but also quite easily their worst. It definitely gets too much sh*t, my biggest problem with the album is the too long songs, no big complaints apart from that. Load on the other hand is seemingly going somewhere between 20 and 30 on my top 100 of the 90s list, that's a great album.

I've never heard St. Anger but most people seem to complain about the electronic drums or something.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a job with Amazon and steal it?
