Granted, I only heard the first two songs that were on Youtube, but one of them was on the official channel so they must think it's good.

I don't know why I even bother with these things. I guess I feel I should have some basis for my disparaging comments when this makes a bunch of top 10 09 lists here. Damn cult of Led Zeppelin...

You sick little man. LOL They must have been horrified. I've made my family listen to TD, they hated it. I should play Part the Second for them.

"All it is is a bunch of sound" "They don't sing it's stupid" blah blah blah.

You could play a better MotW album though...

Don't worry, I didn't put "Phaedra" on.  I put on "Hyperborea," and they tolerated it.  They also tolerated "Part the Second," but they thought it was a little too repetitive and minimalistic.

I'm afraid to say that I have yet to hear any other MotW albums besides "Part the Second," but I'm not really willing to pay those ridiculous prices for one album.

Part the Second is minimalistic? I wouldn't say so.

The band has said multiple times that they're okay with people illegally downloading the earlier MotW albums because of the fact that the prices for them are ridiculous.

Yeah, I know, that's just what they thought (or similar to what they said.)  My parents are pretty open-minded, considering that they usually subconciously listen to my music all the time.  There are some bands where they draw the line- my parents can't stand Il Balletto Di Bronzo.

In that case I'll do so immediately, and this time I won't feel bad about downloading music on the internet. Embarrassed

Could they have meant to much music, not enough singing?

Yeah, I ended up doing the same thing.

Bath and Body Map blow PtS out of the water for me. I feel they're just more diverse. And not boring. LOL

Yeah, possibly.  I don't think they could hear the vocals quite clearly, and they just heard the instrumentation.

Just finished listening to "Velvet Voyage" by Klaus Schulze.  Dark, disturbing, and awesome.
