Anyone has an idea if Avatar will be something digestable?

I'm thinking of using it as motive for another get together with one of my friend. In case we can get tickets, that is. We tried 2012 and it was sold out for another three days (a mania I frankly failed to comprehend, it makes no sense).

Avatar is probably going to be a stupid fun movie which is great if you are going with friends.
I'm going to go see it on IMAX.
2012 is a stoner movie.
Light up before and enjoy the laughs.

BTW, Pat Metheny ftw.

My Wichita Fails, so Fails Wichita Fails CD is also damaged.

Shocked You scare me Victor, you read all new posts but don't post in any and then surprise us that you know what we have posted! Wink

It's really a pitty, such a fantastic album. Only the first 16 minutes of the title track work well, after that it's downhill.
Finishing the debut, which it's also fantastic.

I tried to post in "now what are you listening to", but it seems to make me tired after two attempts.

It was supposed to be my first Metheny album, but since it flopped, I settled for Beyond The Missouri Sky (with Charlie Haden), which is nice.

I do indeed expected greatness from Metheny, I'll listen to much more from now on.

I have that one with Haden! Well not me exactly, my father, actually all the Metheny albums I'm listening are from my dad. He loves him, and has quite a lot from him, though not all.

Have you heard Gary Burton's Like Minds, with Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Roy Haynes and Dave Holland? That's another very nice record.

Good enough for the occasion then.

We abandoned hope, he'll see it on the internet, and I don't care.

I've heard all Corea with Burton, but not the other way around.

The only Burton I've listened is Slide Show (with Ralph Towner) ('85).

I got bad grades because I wouldn't do homework and then I would score well on the tests. That is not a good idea.

3: Everyone who has not had the good sense to quit posting will inevitably be called a troll.

5. Slartibartfast will make a completely irreverent and corny joke.
6. Everyone will post waves of videos / links to books/ excerpts / Wikipedia articles supporting their arguments.
Corollary 6.1: Everyone ignores everyone else's videos / links to books / excerpts/ Wikipedia articles in accordance with the tl;dr theory.
7. Some well-meaning yet misguided peacekeeper will step in and remind everyone that this is a prog rock site where we all come to get away from the horrors of real life, and that it's all about the music man.
Corollary 7.1: Everyone will go into prog polls for a time to argue about how amazing / terrible Rush / Dream Theater / Porcupine Tree are.
Secondary Corollary 7.1.1: Neil Peart is not the uberdrummer.
8. A newbie will join weeks later and post his own insignificant opinion, thereby summoning the foul thread from the depths of the forum, in turn summoning the combatants back to its wretched existence.
Corollary 8.1: If no one has responded within 20 minutes, the newbie will "bump" the thread.
9. Everyone will rehash everything he has said.
10: Everyone is an idiot.

And finally:

11: Tony R. will get bored and post a picture of the Terminator just before locking the thread.

+1 and Sticky this.

But seriously, it should be part of the read before posting thread. Also there should be something included about not being obligated to respond to everyone who disagrees with you.
