Yep, you're correct.

A month from now, if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, I enjoyed it but felt I had already read it before, and indeed I had. But that's not We's "fault", Orwell really took a lot from it, mainly the whole plot.

Still, a very worthy read, plus the edition I bought(in spanish!) includes a great 20 page intro about dystopian novels and Zamiatin.

I like early TD. I haven't heard much of their later stuff but I don't care for what I have heard, at least not as much as stuff like Zeit and Alpha Centauri.

TD are good when asleep, then I don't hear them.  Although they also help me get to sleep... so they do have a redeeming feature. LOL

Now you have to tell me what you thought of it.

As you may know, it was my first Tangerine Dream album, oddly enough it was the only record they sold from them, and they even sold two editions of it! The 70's and the 80's remaster which is the one I bought.

Anyways, I enjoyed it, a fantastic album to listen when going to sleep. However I'm not quite fond of the main theme of Part 1, seems kind of Egyptian or something in that vein which doesn't grab me much. However, only gave it 3 spins yet, so my opinion is surely to change. So far, I don't regret buying it, makes a nice pair with Ashra's BlackoutsApprove

I was awake until 2am simply because my daughter was and I likely wasn't going to be able to sleep anyway.I made the mistake of going in there to correct someone who was misunderstanding something (and drawing an argument from it)...and well, that was kind of a waste of time.
Did anyone read the argument I was having with someone in the Gilmour vs. Waters thread? Did anyone notice how I quit replying? Same thing in the evolution vs creation thread.

I did actually!

I just thought you forgot to post again though...

No, the "conversation" wasn't going anywhere and degraded into what was essentially name-calling.

Laugh if you want, from what I know of old people, we'll all be doing it one of these days.  LOL

Believe me, I've witness it in all forms -  even the ugly, sick-related side of it.

So I'd rather just laugh at your avant-poopin' artist now. Big smile

How've you been lately Robert?
Oh, busy as hell.  This new baby is great, but I have been busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest, just running around dealing with my son (he was potty-trained but now has decided to resume sh*tting himself at regular intervals Angry), cooking, tending to my wife (who is pretty much recovered, believe it or not), and trying to work, etc. etc.

Enjoy time in school, Joel.

Schooldays the happy days when we were going nowhere...

I do enjoy school about 90% of the time, and the 10% I don't enjoy is the daily harrassment from the rugby kids, but most of them aren't coming back for Year 11 and 12 next year () which will make every day at school a lot more enjoyable.
