Efrim is passable most of the time. Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is pretty annoying, though.

Tom Waits is probably my all time favourite singer.

I don't think they can afford it. They did it a few years ago, and I don't know how it went, but the show in Virginia I was considering going to was only $15 a ticket and they had two bands opening for them, so I can't imagine they made much money. I ended up not going for volume concerns, and it was probably the right choice.

efrim's a great singer. if he tried to sing straight like dem modern prog jerks it'd be totally inappropriate and much worse, no matter the level of mastery

Laplace, do you still listen to Merzbow? I heard a few songs by The Haters, and for a brief moment I understood noise, but I still don't get anything from Merzbow. I also tried John Wiese, to potentially add another 2009 album to my puny list, but I still got nothing.

i still listen to Merzbow's album Hybrid Noisebloom now and then

but in general I swang sharply back to liking composition over sound. back to an art bears and cabaret-ish mood. kinda explains why I can take any amount of well-written NES music

John Zorn's Songs from the Hermetic Theater is pretty much a noise album, maybe I would like that in my new mood.

Man, it's 3am, I haven't started the paper yet, and I'm watching The Office. ARGH!

Recording of my new track is finally under way, and yes, it's officially going to rock. Too bad I've got school tomorrow.

After I'd posted that, I realized it could be construed that way.  LOL

Well, the night's sleep wasn't nearly as bad as when my son was born, who cried about every 30 minutes.  She did wake up a lot to eat.  It's like she's backwards, because she slept through most of the day and wanted to eat at night.

Other then sometimes telling people that I've absorbed my half twin during the pregnancy, I've got no other answer to give but "yes".
