that's quite an incorrigible and crude thing to say. i've never encountered anything quite so insulting, and homophobic in my life. and to think when i joined the forum youwere the first one to welcome me in with open arms, what an about face eh? the lamb takes off it's skin to revel the slimier underbelly its peers find unacceptable. that strikes me as very obvious if the person is rather repressed and unaccepting of alternatives to the status quo.
PS i was not aware that Verdana was considered to be an unacceptable font, and if so why is it available from the script editor? or are you not as powerful as you make yourself appear, like the blowfish that expands its body not out of agression, but rather out of the fear that it knows it's only but a fish, and a fish it remain.

A few I despise:

4. KISS. ...
lol, have you heard of this indie band called Final Fantasy? when you name yourself after a game, i don't know, makes me think they're probably not that good, so maybe i'll turn into a big FF fan someday.
then again they might grow on me as a lot of bands have, one of which
was AC/DC, used to hate them, now i think the Bon Scott-era was
alright, good music to not think to

I agree with Dim, AC/DC are TERRIBLE, but theres obvously 3Oh3, SLIPKNOT (i dispise them with a burning passion), Nirvana (i just find it a total joke that some people think Kurt Cobain is a great song-writer, just goes to show the passion and how short some people's inteligance are) and the total disaster that is Bring Me The Horizon, i mean COME ON

No, Offspring was a fine band until "Ixnay on, Hombre" where they began to write as if they were on "full automatic riff'o-ton".
Slipknot: not bad per se (in the world of Metal, I heard worse), but I have the feeling they are nothing but a "composite" band, taking elements from various styles and gaining a dubious success due to their ability to mash-up both mainstream rock and extreme metal.
Nirvana : maybe no more than a "honest" guitarist, but a good song writer. If you can remember AND like a song by a band that you haven't heard in years, it must signify something...
By the way, who are the young suicidal maniacs claiming that AC/DC is a terrible band? Even if I don't enjoy AC/DC as much as I could do when I was a teenager, I can't let you write such things! I can't even find rational counter-ideas, but just say: "If you don't like AC/DC, stop listening rock music. Any kind of rock music. Come here, near the "new age" section..."
It's interesting to see that a lot of people seem to shoot at east targets, best-sellers or sacred cows, without developing a rational speech. I would tend to dismiss the whole "black-metal" genre, but I would do it explaining why: the low technical level, the horrible production, the unability to compose songs in a correct way, etc. Yet, I keep in mind that some black-metal bands have high musical abilities and can write enjoyable tunes. Sometimes, Marduk makes me think of Nile, and Cradle of Filth have strong riffs and songs. Even Rap and Hip-Hop should be listened with an impartial ear: I just watched "Ghost Dog" tonight and the soundtrack is pretty interesting and I would gladly take it in a shop and play it at home.

AC/DC is unbearably boring, and you don't have to listen to New Age to think that! I wouldn't call them the worst band of all time, but they are almost certainly the worst CLASSIC RAWK that is still cluttering up the airwaves.

I REALLY don't like AC/DC at all, and I cop sh*t for not liking them, because apparently as an Australian, I'm obligated to like them. I don't care how influential their music might be, I find it pretty much unlistenable
