The video of The Man Machine from the Minimum-Maximum concert and a video of Radioactivity are rather impressive.

Every time I load this page I have to stop at the top for a bit...I need to check out more Kraftwerk myself. I'm more into the longer ambient electronic stuff a la Tangerine Dream, but I liked the few songs I heard of Kraftwerk on Youtube a while back.
|
That's how I used to be too, but I love pretty much all electronic, and now Kraftwerk is in my top 5 bands of all time.

Just got done from an 11-hour car trip to my grandparents' house (from Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Lousiville, Kentucky.) We're going to celebrate Thanksgiving (USA) with them tomorrow. The car trip was pretty boring, but Progressive Rock CD's helped pass the time by.

The whole DVD looks jizz-worthy if I do say so myself. Or that may be the fanboy part of me talking.

Car rides are one of my favorite places to listen to music, especially at night.

By the way, if you're in Louisville that's not too far from me; I saw
the Decemberists live there in August. I'm about 1 1/2 hours north.

My sister lives near Louisville now, I wasn't a fan of the place when we visited her last...too overcrowded for my tastes.

Oh, I wouldn't know; I've only been down there for minimal amounts of time.

I do like to look out into the countryside while listening to music. The sun was shining too brightly early in the morning, but as it started to set, I became more comfortable. Moonchild even started to make sense as I gazed into the mysterious forest of leafless trees and a mysterious mist. There was also a brilliant sunset, so that also helped the experience. Personally, one reason I don't like car rides is that I feel a little cramped.

They're generally pretty good at least, I still don't think they've topped Discipline or LTiA.

I agree. But I still like the Belew era the most overall. Discipline, TPtB, and Beat being my favorites.

The track "Rhubarb" on this album is like musical morphine.

I can't wait until the remaster of it is released, I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it.
