And it's over a month for me now without a scrobble on last.fm :(

Hey Drew, have you heard any other BT besides This Binary Universe?

Because that album is 10/10; I've heard his other releases aren't quite the same though. Are they any good?

Yeah. I've heard most of his other album, I think. This Binary Universe is a fluke in his discography, because he does mostly techno/dance/trance but if you like that kind of stuff, it should be great. I'd recommend you try to get into Ima or ESCM if you want to give that kind of stuff a god. Youtube "Firewater." It's a great multi-instrumental dance track.

Generally he's more toward Tiesto or Oakenfold than Aphex Twin in terms of dance electronica, but I think that's OK.

Oh, okay. I'll still give it a shot then.

It's a shame none of his stuff is more like TBU though. That's such a killer album.

if the main component of your song is a repeating heartbeat and a random leadline then you can't copyright the song because it belongs to mother nature

I listened to Univers Zero, and I actually thought it was pretty good.  I don't know if I can say the same for Henry Cow yet.  One reason I don't really want to join the dark side is becaus I feel like I would have to leave behind my beloved Symphonic Rock.Cry  Will you let me listen to RPI, or is that too symphonic also?

Over the past 4 to 5 years, my taste has near infinitely expanded; as you learn to love other music, you don't lose your love for other things.

I just listened to King Crimson and Kansas the other day and they both sounded as good as ever (King Crimson especially).

As long as the band improvises for half an hour per disc, it's ok. LOL

Some day you will see the brilliance of Henry Cow, don't rush it.

Lizard keeps sounding better and better. Especially the title track.

You don't abandon symphonic, symphonic abandons you.

In fairness, the only symph band I've ever liked was Genesis. I liked ELP for a little bit but they got boring.

I actually found Lizard to be one of the few King Crimson songs that I loved at first listen, but it took a few more understand the jazzier parts.

I agree. Genesis has been the only Symph. that I have been listening to. I have even lost some interest in Yes.Shocked
