Yeah, Piper is good. I don't like "Take Thy Stethoscope...", but for the most part it is brilliant.

Interstellar Overdrive is brilliant, but I have to admit, some of the songs on that album make me laugh.

Yup, Roger's song is the dud. I love that.

My favorite track on "Piper" would have to be Interstellar Overdrive. When I first heard it, I didn't like it (this was before I discovered Prog,) but now I realize it's brilliance. I guess it's not very complex though, considering that it's actually just one riff with a lot of organ texture for 10 minutes, but it sounds epic anyways.

I wish that they would have used a longer version of Interstellar Overdrive.

I think I have heard Piper once. And that was ages ago. Probably since
I'm not a big fan of Floyd. Admittedly I've only explored their later,
more popular abums (Dark Side up to and including The Wall), so I'm not
very familiar with much of what they've done.

I just listened to it on videos posted on Youtube. Too bad it's not portable.

You just summed up why almost all Pink Floyd bores me.

There are programs/websites that can rip music/video from youtube. I don't know if they are illegal though. I guess it is similar to recording movies on tv or songs from the radio.

My daily rhythm is wondrously strange right now. Fell asleep around 7 last evening, woke up around 2 this morning. Now I'm sipping some red wine (Italian, naturally) and studying for a seminar
