Aphex Twin is quite good. Granted I only have the debut at this point, but it's one of the best modern electronic albums I've ever heard.

I need more too. His later work is way different than Ambient Works, if you didn't know.

That's one of the bands that I would like to try out myself. Can you recommend an album?

His first, Selected Ambient Works, 85-92. Also look on youtube, that way you can get a feel of his later music.

The debut is really good, like I said before. I asked a friend of mine just now and he said the "Richard D. James Album" is another good choice.

Of course that means I'll need to get the second one myself too. LOL

Is his later stuff radically different from the debut? Or just somewhat different? I've heard it's different nonetheless.

His first album is probably one of the few that you could dance to, to put it simply. Here is a good example of what I mean.

It must have been hard to do. I could never part with mine. Smile

To each their own...

Aphex Twin's IDM/DnB is the really good stuff. The only other electronic music I've found that can match it is Venetian Snares. If last.fm could have scrobbled Ruckus' player, he would definately be my number one artist. At this point I'm reluctant to buy them though because I had them completely memorized only months ago, so I think there needs to be more cooldown time.

This Binary Universe is really good too.

Now I want to listen to BT  and Aphex Twin.
